Question 1

How does Meta account access work?

Accepted Answer

Meta access is not already authorized. Start the connection from your workspace, authorize the requested advertising access with Meta, then choose the ad account you want to link—even when Meta returns only one account. The workspace reports Connected only after that choice is saved and access can be confirmed. Until then, it may show Not connected, Choose an account, Setup required, or an access or permissions status that needs attention.

Question 2

What happens when I submit a campaign setup?

Accepted Answer

Submitting saves your setup for Hatchpress to review and discuss a proposed campaign scope with you. It is not approval of that proposal and does not launch ads. Acknowledging the approval process in the setup is also not launch approval.

Question 3

When can a campaign launch?

Accepted Answer

Only after you explicitly approve the final campaign scope and budget. Submitting a setup, setting a budget cap, or acknowledging that approval is required does not authorize launch. Campaigns do not launch automatically.

Question 4

What does my budget cap cover?

Accepted Answer

The amount you enter is the maximum total media spend in USD for one campaign. Hatchpress will clarify service fees in the proposed scope before you decide whether to approve it. Entering a cap does not authorize launch; you must still explicitly approve the final scope and budget.

Question 5

What do the campaign statuses mean?

Accepted Answer

Submitted, Under review, Reviewed, and Declined describe progress on your setup. They do not show whether ads have launched. For each platform report, launch status and launch date are recorded separately and appear when Hatchpress has saved them.

Question 6

When will a campaign report appear in my workspace?

Accepted Answer

Hatchpress must match the setup’s saved contact email to your verified account before linking it to your workspace. Until a matching account is verified and the setup is linked, the setup and its report stay private and will not appear in your account.

Question 7

Are campaign status and performance reports live from Meta?

Accepted Answer

No. Hatchpress staff enter campaign status updates and performance snapshots manually. Each saved update has an entry timestamp, and performance snapshots also show their reporting date. The workspace does not live-sync campaign status or performance from Meta or another advertising platform.
